Troodos
The amazing island of Cyprus is popular for its beach hotels but the mountain town of Troodos with dense forested highlands, represents a nice contrast. This picturesque town is situated in the South - West of the island. The highest point of the mountains is the Mount of Olympus which has an altitude of 1.953 meters above the level of the sea. This Cypriot town is very popular in the winter time for skiing and in the summer for hikes and trekking about the mountains.
My review about Forest Park Hotel in Troodos is the following: The bedrooms there were very comfortable and the bathrooms were large enough. The only inconvenience would be that my room must have accommodated a very heavy smoker before me as even leaving the balcony doors open all week and spraying daily with air freshener did not get rid of the smoky smell. The maid service was conscious and she cleaned efficiently everyday.
